The first major retrospective devoted to Swiss artist Félix Vallotton in nearly 50 years has moved to the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum in Tokyo. Following its celebrated displays at the Grand Palais in Paris and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the latest Félix Vallotton: Fire beneath the ice exhibition is Japan's first retrospective of the artist. Organised in partnership with the Musée d’Orsay, the Réunion des musées nationaux, Grand Palais, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, and Nikkei Inc., the exhibition will be on show until 23 September 2014, and will cover every aspect of the artist’s career.
